Newzealand Tourism Unaffected By the Earthquake

Christchurch quake caused a lot of damage, but it has not been able to damage Newzealand tourism, and the number of tourists who chose Newzealand travel last February increased fractionally compared to last year.

Newzealand tourism remained robust this February and 268,259 travelers enjoyed their stay in Newzealand.
A large number of Chinese and Japanese tourists chose Newzealand travel this February, closely followed by a large number of Koreans and UK tourists. The rugby world cup will be held in Newzealand as per schedule and that it is expected to attract a large number of holidaymakers.

That fact that Newzealand tourism is unaffected by the quake is a positive sign for the country that depends largely on its income from tourism.
